PCRM Diabetes Initiative Week 5: The Glycemic Index

Description:

Diabetes is a major public health problem of epidemic proportions. The Food Evolution is excited to host this PCRM Food for Life Program.  This 8-week program is intended to reach audiences including individuals with diabetes, pre-diabetes, a family history or risk factors for developing diabetes, and their adult family members. Additionally, this program is designed for health care professionals to introduce the basics of plant-based nutrition for preventing and treating diabetes. Come and discover ways to take a Type 2 Diabetes diagnosis into your own hands and get on the road to feeling better than ever!  Let thy food be thy medicine!

3/18/15: Keeping A Healthy Heart

3/25/15: Diabetes Care from Head to Toe

4/1/15: Making it Work for You
